At the core of ASIST is the Case. New cases are created for each new repair event. The case allows users to communicate effectively with customers while managing the repair.
Searching for and Updating the Asset via the "Edit Asset" screen
Before starting a new case, it is imperative to update any asset details first. The "Edit Asset" screen allows users to make changes to the asset including unit number and mileage updates. Updating the asset first ensures that the correct asset information will be displayed in the new case.
Recommended Operations
When creating a new case for your customer it is essential to review the Recommended Operations Page to apply the appropriate operations to the case. Upon clicking the "New Case" button, the recommended operations are displayed for the new case and the user has the ability to "Accept" or "Decline".
Fleet Notes
Upon creating a new Case for a fleet customer, the "Fleet Notes" are displayed in case. The "Fleet Notes" lay out a specific case management process that is defined by the fleet and help service locations follow the fleet's procedure when managing a repair event.
